About Me:
Caroline Baker is a senior at Loyola Marymount University double majoring in political science in journalism. At LMU she is the Secretary General of the Model United Nations Club and is a member of the ASLMU Sustainability and Operations team. Outside of school, Caroline primarily spends her time volunteering for the Commission on Voluntary Service and Action. The CVSA primarily connects grassroots organizations to other similar organizations to build their membership. Currently, Caroline is working on a report with the CVSA on the status of the Sustainable Development Goals in the United States. This report will be presented during the annual High-Level Political Forum held every July at the United Nations in New York City. In the past, Caroline has interned for the Government Accountability Office, a federal organization that works with congress to track the efficacy of congressional projects. She assisted in writing a report on preventing repeat DUI offenders in collaboration with federal stakeholders like the FBI and DOT. Caroline additionally has worked for the National Student Leadership Conference in administration and assisted with the organization of various conference-wide events.
